A Pedagogy for Subject English Language Teaching

T-Shaped

Literacy

Introduction

This website outlines the T-Shape Literacy model (Wilson & Jesson, 2019) in order to support teachers to integrate this approach into their repertoire of teaching tools. From 2019 through to now, T-Shape Literacy teacher’s have contributed to an understanding of what would be useful for this site. Therefore, support materials for a variety of English units as well as other project resources and information are hosted here. Key principles of T-Shape Literacy are often transferable so examples and exemplars are presented in a way that allows for this to happen.
